My first time at a bed and breakfast and it the standard for which all other BNBs must live up to. Amazing experience!Location, location, location! Lots of great restaurants in walking distance. We went to a Jazz concert in Emancipation Park and it is walking distance from the BNB. Also, the BNB is beautiful! It’s very nicely decorated and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The staff friendly and helpful. Great place for a weekend getaway.

Don't stay at a chain - you will miss out on the wonderful experience of La Maison of Midtown! The rooms and common areas are elegantly and comfortably furnished in a traditional style. The owners, Sharon and Genora, couldn't be nicer! The chef, Matthew, cooked a creative and amazing breakfast both days and they have a casual wine hour in the evenings.

I had a work event in Midtown. La Maison was just a few blocks away from the event venue, so the convenient location made it perfect. However, after my stay I can now say that I would choose to stay here again even if the next event was on the opposite side of town. It is a lovely establishment. Very quiet and cozy. I was made to feel welcome the minute I stepped in the door. The room was very well decorated, but not overly so. The spa tub was wonderful! I found the room rate to be very reasonable and comparable to what you would pay for a night at one of the name brand hotels...but the difference here is that you aren't just treated like a paying guest, you are treated like family!

We’ve stayed here twice now, and have greatly enjoyed it both times!! The property is very well kept, the bed comfy, the sheets soft and the breakfast tasty! The free designated parking is welcome in downtown and it was only about five minutes from the Aquarium/Alley Theater.
