Covid-19 Update

During this ongoing Pandemic, we continue to work to make your experience with us even better.  We are following CDC guidelines to make sure that your stay is safe as possible.  We are still doing our breakfast and Urban high tea, just a bit differently.  Whether you want to come now or in the future, we are grateful for your business.  Please stay safe and healthy and we look forward to having you as our guest.

What we are doing about Covid-19

La Maison in Midtown has always been committed to providing a safe, healthy stay with clean and sanitized guest rooms.  However, given the impact of recent developments, we have added additional procedures and a cleaning checklist to ensure the safety and well-being of all our guests and staff during your stay.  Here are the additional precautionary measures we have implemented.

Cleaning Procedures

• Prior to guest arrival, rooms are cleaned and disinfected daily – as always!
• You will now have your choice of housekeeping service.  Full-service for multiple night stays, Partial Service (Set of fresh towels/toiletries only) or No Service for one-night stays or you do not want anyone to enter the room during your stay. 
• All linen, mattress covers, and pillow protectors will be washed and disinfected and changed out prior to each new guest.
• Decorative pillows and bedding have been reduced. 
• Hand sanitizer is available in each room and via hands-free dispenser located by the elevator on the first floor
• Common area surfaces and high touchpoints such as doorknobs, light switches, elevator buttons, stair rails, and furniture are being wiped down or sprayed with disinfectant.

Food Safety

• Innkeepers and Kitchen staff are certified in and practice Serve Safe techniques – as always!
• Breakfast Options – Choose from Continental to go or Main Floor Dining

  Continental/To-go breakfast: Enjoy continental breakfast with access to cold or hot beverages, breads or pastries, fruit, granola, and   yogurt available for early departures or upon request.

  Main Floor Dining: You may enjoy our daily full breakfast which alternates sweet and savory entrees at our individual breakfast   

tables. Seating times may be staggered to accommodate maximum social distancing. 

• Refreshments/Urban Hight Tea:

Refreshments: A basket of individually wrapped snacks are available in the kitchen area and bottled water, coffee and hot tea are     

  accessible in the Conference Room on the second floor. 

Urban High Tea: Available upon request. Guests will be served a glass of wine, cold or hot tea and individually wrapped snacks, with   

  scattered seating locations provided on the main floor and outside on the veranda.

Flexible Policies

In the event La Maison in Midtown is required to close due to a City, County, or State-wide declaration of emergency, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.

Dining and Entertainment Options

The Houston Zoo and several Museums are open but are operating at a reduced capacity. Currently there are several restaurants that offer limited capacity in-restaurant dining options.
